My name is Brenda, I am 40 years old and I have 4 children, they all are grown. I been a single parent as long as I know, I also have two grandchildren. I have fun with them. My oldest  is 23 and my youngest is 18. Been through alot but I can say I did make it through.

I have not worked in two years and yes I have been looking for work, could'nt find anything. So I told myself to go and get my ged, cause I dont have an high school diploma. I needed a education, so I had to make up my mind and do what I had to do, for me. I just thank God, He has been there for me all the way. I just love to help people, I do believe that is my calling. Helping so much I forget what I need and wants.

Found out that I have diabetes right after chritmas last year, was something that I was not ready for. I filled out the papers for disability and was denied. I also signed up for medicaid was denied also.

You could try to put it up for rent and make sure its rentable, then if it is you can out it on section 8 that is garanted monthly. Then that way you have that income to help maintain it and some can help with your rent. U might not get what you want off section 8 at least its something. Try and see what they say.

They should have a church that you should be able to got to and sign up for a christmas basket.
